In January, PITCH BLACK announces the last show of “Unleashing Chaos Tour” in Porto, with Cycles.

Another compilation cd is released, this time through the American Dark Forest Productions. It is titled “Atomic Annihilation” and includes the song “Disturbing the Peace”.

Being since November 2003 focused on the composition of new songs, the band only decides to return to live action, in April, 2004 with shows in Hard Club (V.N. Gaia), Tabu Bar (Vila Real), Caldas da Raínha (Fábrica do Ferro II Underground Festival) and Colinas Bar (Branca Albergaria). PITCH BLACK also plays for the second consecutive time at the V Algarve Em Chamas Festival.

The compilation cd “Divergências.Com” is released in May through the Portuguese label Independent Recs.

In September, Pitch Black plays at Hard Club. One of the shows is at the Rock Music Metal Challenge contest's big final, sponsored by Jackson guitars. The band got the first place and won two Jackson guitars and a Jackson bass as first prize. During this month, Sérgio Vilas Boas decides to leave the band due to personal reasons and a new guitarrist steps forward. Ricardo Martins (ex-Grinder and ex-Under Fetid Corpses) takes the position of new lead guitarrist.
